Nathaniel Clyne Will Leave On Only One Condition

According to the latest reports, Premier League side Liverpool are prepared to allow defender Nathaniel Clyne to leave the club on loan only if he gets more game time elsewhere.

Liverpool is currently enjoying a great start to the new Premier League season as they have won 11 out of their 14 opening games and are still unbeaten in England’s top flight. The Merseyside club won the local derby against Everton in a special night at Anfield as there was only one local boy on the pitch and that was English right back Trent Alexander Arnold.

The 20-year-old defender has transformed into a world-class right back under Jurgen Klopp and has kept his senior Nathanial Clyne out of the first team for quite a while. Even fellow young teammate Joe Gomez has been used as a makeshift right-back this season pushing Clyne further down the pecking order.

Liverpool is now planning to offload Clyne in the winter transfer window as Premier League rivals Fulham as Claudio Ranieri wants to keep the London side in English top flight.

Fulham is in danger of being relegated and is keen to address their right back issue this season. Clyne has been monitored by Ranieri but the Italian’s former club Leicester City and Cardiff are also sniffing around the accomplished defender.

Clyne arrived at Liverpool for a fee of £12.5 million from South coast club Southampton back in 2015. But now the Reds are preparing to lend the 27-year old on a loan deal in January till the end of the season. With three clubs interested in Clyne, Liverpool is prepared to offer their asset to the only outfit that can guarantee him regular football.

A move to Craven Cottage could provide Clyne with a big task of trying to keep Fulham in the Premier League, but Clyne is a useful backup and should not be sold because he has the experience that Trent Alexander Arnold and Joe Gomez currently lack.
