PSG could hamper Liverpool’s plans of signing Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram

Paris Saint-Germain could hamper Liverpool’s plans of signing Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram if they are not able to land Manuel Ugarte’s signature this summer.

Ugarte is believed to be far keener on a move to Stamford Bridge with Chelsea emerging as the frontrunners to sign the Sporting Lisbon man after his breakthrough season in the Portuguese top flight.

According to a report from The Daily Express, it is claimed that PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos has identified Thuram as the perfect contingency plan should they lose out on the 22-year-old Ugarte to Liverpool’s Premier League rivals Chelsea.

With the Parisians joining the chase for the Nice starlet Thuram, Liverpool’s plans on the transfer front are likely to become complicated amid Jurgen Klopp looking to go all out to overhaul his midfield in the upcoming summer window.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Arthur Melo and James Milner are all set to leave the Merseyside in the coming weeks and the four departues will open the door for new faces to come through before the next season gets underway.
