Fabinho returns to Liverpool team training ahead of Chelsea clash

Liverpool’s Brazilian midfield man Fabinho has made his much-anticipated return to team training ahead of this weekend’s fixture against Chelsea in the Premier League.

Reports from the club’s official website claim that the 27-year-old was snapped in training for Liverpool after missing out on the Burnley win for Jurgen Klopp’s men last time around.

Fabinho’s father’s passing away had been the reason for the midfielder being sidelined for the home outing last weekend at Anfield which resulted in a convincing victory.

It remains to be seen whether the player will be making a straight way back onto the Liverpool teamsheet following Jurgen Klopp deciding to go ahead with alternative options in the centre of the park amidst Fabinho’s prolonged absence.

Naby Keita has been one name who has been given an extended run of first-team football as one of Liverpool’s three-man midfield department with skipper Jordan Henderson also back in the fray despite his contract talks underway.
