Liverpool starlet close to leaving the club amid Sheffield United rumours

Rhian Brewster’s time in the Liverpool FC shirt may be finally coming to an end with recent reports indicating that the 20-year old striker is closing on an Anfield exit.

The youngster has been tipped to seal a departure from the Reds’ this summer due to future apprehensions being shared by both Brewster as well as Jurgen Klopp over his first-team involvement in the coming seasons.

With the attacking trio of Firmino, Mane, and Salah being firmly established as the first-choice options at Klopp’s disposal, Brewster will face a tough task to displace even the likes of Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino to claim a spot on the Liverpool FC bench.

The Premier League champions are willing to listen to offers for the ex-England U17 international and are rumoured to be seeking a £20 million bid, with last season’s dark horses Sheffield United being considered the frontrunners in the race to sign Brewster along with Aston Villa.

An inflow of funds in the stipulated region of £20 million will allow Klopp to further his interest in making a move for Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr before the current transfer window closes on 4th October.
